Award-winning singer and multi-instrumentalist Greg Latta presents a free performance of Irish and Celtic music featuring vocals, cittern, bouzouki, uilleann pipes, guitar, and hammered dulcimer. Throughout the performance, Greg will discuss the history of Celtic music and its various musical instruments.
Irish-American Heritage Month, first celebrated in 1991 by proclamation of the U.S. Congress and the President, honors the achievements and contributions of Irish immigrants and their descendants living in the United States.
In-Person Attendance
A limited number of FSU faculty, staff and students only may attend the event in-person. To prevent the spread of the coronavirus, FSU follows state health guidelines requiring the wearing of masks and physical distancing from others. Audience members must visit the FSU check-in portal before arriving on campus and be prepared to display the Reduced Risk badge.
The livestream of this event will begin at 6:50 PM on Wednesday, March 17 on Greg Latta’s YouTube channel. Guests can join late and view the performance in progress or rewind to the beginning. After the concert, a link will remain on YouTube for guests to view the recorded performance.
